YA-HOOOOO!!!!!

I am sooooo excited...we just found out today that the boys are officially free for adoption! Hopefully if everything goes planned the adoption will be final in February.

We are ALIVE :)

Yes, I just finished 21 New posts. So if you want to see what has been keeping the Pendleys busy since July then you finally have the updates you have been waiting for. I can't believe that I was that far behind. I have a few more posts with updates to come this week.

Soccer Season for Robyn & LoriAnne (almost over)

Soccer season is almost over and it feels like it has just begun. We have had so much rain that we have had allot of games and practices cancelled. Robyn & LoriAnne love playing soccer. Hopefully in the future they can play more games and we can have a little less rain :)

New Glasses and more lost teeth

Robyn got glasses a couple of weeks ago. She has also lost a total of 5 teeth. I love Robyn's glasses on her and she loves being able to see things clearly.

Did I mention he isn't tired...

I can not get this kid to take a nap. He was soooooo tired that I even layed down with him. He kept saying "I'm not tired". I finally gave up and this is how I found him.

Happy Halloween!

LoriAnne was Alice in Wonderland, Mikey a Firefighter, Jonathan did not want to dress up and Robyn was Cinderella at the Ward Trunk or Treat and a Vampire Chearleader Halloween night (I did not get any pics of Robyn). Dave took Robyn, LoriAnne, & Mikey trick or treating they had a great time. Jonathan and I stayed home and passed out cany. We had 3 trick or treaters this year.

Meet our newest Addition!

Yes, you read that right. We have a new addition to our family. Meet BRUNO...he is a Shih Tzu and weighs less then 5 pounds. He should not get any bigger then 10 pounds. He is so soft and cuddly. I have fallen in love with him.

Fall Break = Discovery Center Museum

The kids all had fall break so we headed to the Discovery Center Children's Museum. We had not been there for a while. They have some new exhibits. The kids had a blast and I had so much fun spending the day with them there. I love when we have days like this and all the kids are in great moods. I am so greatful they are mine!

Cheekwood Gardens

I went with my mom and Jonathan (the other 3 kids were at school) to Cheekwood Gardens to walk around. They had allot of scarecrows that various people dressed up for the fall. It was fun seeing how creative people were with the scarecrows.

Pumpkin Patch

I love taking the kids to the Pumpkin Patch every year. This year we went while my mom was in town. The kids had a great time.

Last weekend with cousins and Primary Program

Well my sister and her family are in their way to Wisconsin. Victor has a job there. It is a great opportunity for them but we are going to miss them. So this past weekend her 3 kids stayed with us and we played all weekend. It was so much fun having them here.
On Sunday Robyn, LoriAnne, & Mikey had their Primary Program. They did a great job and they all memorized their parts. We are so proud of you guys!

Coty & James get Baptized

What an exciting time for this family. Coty & James were baptized. It was such a special day and it was great to be there and witness it. This family has come a long way and it is wonderful to see them so happy.

Adoption Update

Parental Rights have been TERMINATED! The mother has until November 10th to appeal so we will leave it in the Lord's hands until then. Hopefully we will be able to finalize the adoption February or March of 2010.

LoriAnne's 1st day of Pre-K

How is this girl already 4 years old? LoriAnne started her 1st day of pre-k and absolutely loves it. I miss having her home but she does so well being on a schedule and she loves her teacher.

All the kids make a paper doll all dressed up how they want to decorate it. Of course LoriAnne wanted hers to be dressed up as a ballerina.

LoriAnne was able to have one more sleep over with Emily before she starts school next week. So they had allot of fun baking, playing dress up, getting nails painted, "not" going to bed, etc.

Mikey started school today

Mikey started school again today at Franklin Elementary in their Special Ed pre-k. He is doing so well. I love his teacher and I am excited to see the progress he will make over the school year. We love you Mikey!

Robyn first day of 1st Grade

I can not believe that Robyn is a 1st grader. She is growing up too fast. She is such a great big sister and I am so glad that she is part of our family. We love you Robyn!

Nursery (playing) is Exhausting!

"Uncle" Nate & "Aunt" Tamara's Wedding

We had a nice couple of days with Family. Dave's brother got married so we did a whirlwind trip to Utah so we could be there for the wedding. On Sunday Dave's sister Suzy blessed their new addition to their family (I am so glad we were there for that special day). Then Monday all the cousins had the day to play together. Tuesday was wedding day. The wedding was in the morning, then we went to the wedding luncheon, and the reception was that evening. On Wednesday we flew home. It was a fast trip. I wish we had more time to visit with everyone but I am so greatful that we could be there to witness Nate & Tamara's sealing in the Temple.

In Loving Memory of...

Today is the Memorial Service for one of our dearest friends in California. We wish we could be there but we know that the family knows we are there in spirit. Sara Caputo will be missed by many including myself and my family. She was an incredible example of faith and love and we were blessed to have known her.

A Day to be Remembered

Today we had the opportunity to attend the baptism of our friends/neighbors. This family took the missionary discussions in our home and attended church with us. When they committed to be baptized it was so wonderful to see the transformation that took place in their lives. Our family has grown to love them and we are so greatful for the opportunity of being a part of their lives.
Kennady, Zachary, and Cameron were baptized today. James, Coty, & Barbie will be baptized in September.

Cinderella Marionette Show

Once again we went to the Nashville Public Library to see the "Cinderella" marionette show. This was definitely the best marionette show I have seen them perform. If we get a chance I would love to go see it again.

Another visit to one of our top 10 places to go

Now that we live in Tennessee I am very thankful for indoor play places. The weather has actually not been too bad but their have definitely been days when the humidity has been high. I think swimming ranks top of the list of summer things but "Jump Zone" is definitly one of the top 10 places we love to go during the summer!

7 Wonderful Years!!!!

The World of Mother Goose!

We went to the Nashville Public Library and saw "The World of Mother Goose" puppet show. These 2 ladies did an amazing job entertaining the kids and they put their own spin on the nursery ryhmes. It was hilarious and a MUST SEE if they do it again next summer.

This year we decided to get a smaller pool then the one we had last year. The kids love to go swimming in it!
